What does therapy look like?

Individual therapy offers you one-on-one support during difficult times and an effective way to move forward. My practice is one that acknowledges your strengths while providing a safe, nonjudgmental space to work toward your goals.

I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches drawn from psychodynamic theory, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. There's no one-size-fits-all approach to this kind of work, and we will collaborate to tailor therapy to your particular needs. My goal is to provide you with a greater sense of empowerment to build the kind of life you want for yourself.

Most clients choose to meet on a weekly basis for 50-55 minutes, but longer appointments and more frequent sessions are options we can discuss. I offer both short- and long-term therapy, depending on your needs.
