“No matter how our clients’ births unfold, the emotional support we provide is invaluable to their birth experience and their memories of how they were supported when they brought their baby into the world. The training we received from Sheryl has become an integral part of how we provide that emotional support for all of our clients. I can’t recommend this training highly enough!”
— Sarah M. Paksima, MPH, MBA, Owner of DC Birth Doulas

“Sheryl's training was excellent, and I'd recommend it to any birth worker. She provided loads of strategies that can be used to ground clients in their most anxious moments in pregnancy, birth and postpartum.”
— Emily Workman, Owner, Maternal Mind Doula Services

“I really appreciated Sheryl's organized and clear delivery of tips and tricks for proven interventions with anxious clients. She was able to discuss a breadth of ways in which to deal with anxious moms and partners and allowed space for us to discuss our experiences as well."
— Marisa Van Osdale, birth doula

“Sheryl's workshop reinforced what I thought I knew and validated some of my current practices. I left with bolstered confidence and very tangible ways to support even my most anxious clients. I especially appreciated the small group size for intimacy, and the discussion of the neuroscience behind anxiety and how/when to intervene. I would highly recommend every doula take Sheryl's training."
— Kaylie Groenhout, Co-Founder, Doulas of Northern Virginia

“The workshop was valuable for me because I used the information from the training already today with one of my clients…My tool box is definitely more loaded now than before.”
— Nathalie Grolleman, birth and postpartum doula
